With blue boards going up and walls in our future, that means tile is fast approaching. The Tile Shop has quickly become one of our favorite vendors because of their huge selection of gorgeous marble, porcelain, and slate tiles. And with Dad’s contractor discount, our selections are miraculously within our budget.

And to save even more, we’ll be doing the tiling ourselves. (Now I know I have a tile expert that subscribes to this blog so Chris- feel free to chime in here on DIY tiling!) The Tile Shop offers free classes every Saturday at 9:30a. Some expert advice along with Dad’s supervision and my meticulous quest for perfection, I think we should have no trouble at all.
